Taikai and Tsinghua University DC Research Center Held a Signing Ceremony for Technical Cooperation
Recently, the signing ceremony of technical cooperation between Taikai and the DC Research Center of the Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua University was held in the Shuangqing Building of Tsinghua University. The two sides carried out technical cooperation on IGCT-based AC/DC converter, DC converter and other technologies. Yu Zhanqing, deputy director of the Department of Electrical Machinery of Tsinghua University and director of the DC Research Center, Zhao Biao, the deputy director of the DC Research Center, Qu Lu, director of the application research and development office, Liu Bo, chairman of Taikai High Voltage Switchgear Company, and Xiao Fengliang, general manager of the Taikai DC Company, attended the signing ceremony.
Liu Bo, Chairman of Taikai High-voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd., reviewed the cooperation process of the two sides in the past five years, and pointed out that the cooperation agreement signed by the two sides is another important milestone in the development of the company in the DC field. Taikai and Tsinghua have made outstanding achievements in the cooperation of DC breaking technology, and look forward to promoting more new technology applications, new product promotion and new project implementation through further cooperation.
Yu Zhanqing, associate professor of Tsinghua University, affirmed the performance of Taikai team in DC breaking technical cooperation and played an important role in the implementation and application of Tsinghua technology in many DC projects such as Zhangbei, Zhuhai and Dongguan. Associate Professor Yu Zhanqing hopes that through cooperation between the two sides, greater technological breakthroughs can be made in new fields and contribute to the construction of new power systems.
